It's because this tool follows the Revised Romanization of Korean system of romanization, rather than the much-older McCune–Reischauer system. The Revised Romanization system produces more accurate results, but the McCune–Reischauer system has been around since 1937, so its romanizations have already become fairly well-established in the English language.
