May 25, 2020 · Adobe announced EOL (end of life) for Fireworks in 2013, they have been triying to kill it off for a long time and steering users towards other Adobe products, but it hasn't really worked and still has a lot of loyal uses for good reason, but don't hold your breath for a reprieve for Fireworks, I don't think that will ever happen.
