The best dagger for PvE is bridled fury (avalonian dagger) I use it for PvE and PvP and it can kick ass imo since it's merciless finish is an AOE attack that does around 1000 damage with full assassin spirit of sunder armor charges for a 4.1 bridled fury and I use 4.2 to easily clear T5 solo dungeons, and it's amazing for GvG and ZvZ

I can't speak for any of the other weapons I never did daggers in beta but had the urge for my main now that full launch. I'm running straight medium armor would love to hear from more seasoned beta players what was working best though as well!

Health/damage food healing potions. Bring a mount. Daggers aren’t the best for this. It might even be better to use a simple dps setup and go for caps.
