For the extra fame you will pay both for the satchel and for the fame credit conversion. Fame farm with 100 spec on all pieces but no satchel. Use the saved silver (compared to alt. 1) to buy tomes of insight. Consume these to spec up a weapon (and possibly offhand), helmet, armor, and shoes at the same time. There are just so many variables here.

16M fame for one weapon node. so to get one weapon to 700/700 need about 116M fame not taking into account fame credits. As for armors pieces not quite sure how much i do know head pieces go alot faster? and off hands go crazy fast. you can max all off hands in a matter of days doing t8 BZ dungeons
In other words gaining 100 fame with swords node would yield 40 fame credits, which would give you 80 fame if spent on a weapon, or 1600 if spent on the shield mastery (offhand node)

You get 16k credits per tome and need 34m to get a whole set to 100 from 1 spec, so 2125 tomes. 2125X23k = 48,9m then you add the 0,75 silver per credit 34m*0,75=25,5m. So you pay 48,9m+25,5m=74,4m. vs. 34m/10kX23k=78,2m. That is if your mastery is at 100 already which should be the case for most armor pieces after you've played a while
