Easy Anti-Cheat - "Botting Tool Detected" - Isn't this supposed to be fixed? I've seen this issue plastered all over the internet and as I lose my gear in the black zone due to me not being able to login due to easy anti cheat means I am about to cancel my sub to this game.
Botting isn't a huge problem in this game yet. Though I can imagine that there will be some botting in the future (transport bots and continued seaweed fishing bots). Yes you can get rich by mining a ton but it will take some startup time. Both PVE and PVP are viable money makers. I also have an osrs background.
Albion Online enters a new era: The Age of the Bots. So lots of people have lots of opinions on the F2P announcement and its impacts, but something that has only really been touched on by a few people in comments is botting. From what I can see, going f2p with Albion in it's current form will result in bot hordes.

13.04.2021 · Botting Tool Detected. 30. Dezember 2020. I keep getting disconnected from the game with the message "Botting tool detected". I have no other applications running in background, I've litterally closed everything. Also I'm running the game directly thru the Albion Launcher, with firewall disabled. Sadly I've just bought the premium a few days ...
So botting in albion isnt that simple. The old bots used to work by injecting the game and then getting the location of the nodes through a coordinate system that is built into the game. However an update at the start of this year stopped this by encoding the data of nodes and players, with no easy way to decipher this information the bots usually fail to run.
