Couldn't be more wrong actually. Solo dungeons are best done with two people. Sure your loot and fame are "halved" but in exchange you should be killing twice as fast, if not faster. Your collective health remains higher between fights in case of a dive. And if dove, you have a much better chance of surviving with a partner.
