Types of Zones The world of Albion Online is comprised of four zone types: Blue, Yellow, Red, and Black. These zones have different rules regarding PvP as well as what resources are available. The Royal Continent (which is the continent you will start in) has Blue, Yellow, and Red zones.

In black zones, players are automatically enrolled in PvP without having to flag themselves. Meaning, there is no loss of reputation for killing other players.

Unrestricted PvP Zone, also known as "Conditional PvP Zone" and sometimes referred to as just "conditional". After the player steps inside his HP Bar (normally, visible in the middle of the screen) will start flickering from yellow to red until it becomes fully red indicating the player status change to forced hostile.
