Arcane shielding and damage boosting is unaffected by damage and healing boosts, so it's all about being a survivable and mobile as possible so that you can shield your allies through fights.

A huge chunk of +damage comes from wearing leather or cloth armor to get the most +damage. Part of that, youll want to use taunts in PVE.
