08.05.2015 · I’m experiencing the same issue but mine is slightly different in a way that I can take a snapshot of the VM with “Snapshot the virtual machine’s memory” unticked and “Quiesce guest file system” ticked and a snapshot is created with NO issues/errors from VMWARE side.
