Anaconda packages directory Hello everybody, I was wandering if I can specify the directory that conda installs the packages. Right now they get installed in user/Name/ (user/Name/.spyder, user/Name/.matplotlib, user/Name/.ipyhton etc) and get tangled with all the other folders in there.

However, I want to do this just for the Anaconda environment I am using during development and I would like them to remain there over time(i.e. when I restart the environment, I want the search path to have that folder).

Aug 20, 2020 · Unfortunately, Anaconda has a built-in `scripts` module that will shadow the student's **scripts** folder and make ``` import scripts.example ``` fail. The issue suggests adding an __init__.py to **scripts**. I believe that adds unnecessary complexity to the introductory material and propose renaming the folder with this PR.
