22.12.2021 · I bought a tp-link wifi adapter (TL-WN725N) to use on my desktop computer. When I do lsusb it is shown as Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188EUS 802.11n Wireless Network Adapter. I installed iwd and started/enabled the service. When I run iwctl to get into the interactive prompt and run the device list command, then nothing is listed.

27.02.2017 · Is it possible to install arch linux with my only internet coming from a wifi usb adapter? I am currently using a TP-Link Wireless N Nano USB Adapter Model No. TL-WN725N. Whenever I try to use sudo wifi-menu or iwconfig, nothing helpful ever shows up. I am guessing that it can't read the usb wifi drivers. This is before partitioning and everything.

Most of the applications I use have native Linux versions these days and I used Ubuntu years ago, but Ubuntu seems more sluggish these days so why not try Arch.
