I am using the recommended settings that ATT email suggests: pop.att.yahoo.com, smtp.att.yahoo.com, 995 and 465 for incoming and outgoing servers and when the settings are tested nothing happens. My POP3 works on my other computer (also running Windows 7 but with Office 2007).

Here is the important part. I tried to setup Outlook 2007 and it will not work either. They have supposedly changed their settings per their website for POP to be inbound.att.net, port 995/SSL and SMTP to be outbound.att.net port 465, SSL. I have setup email many times and the POP server (inbound) is rejecting the login/password.

05.01.2017 · I chose POP but the incoming and outgoing servers did not change. You MUST change them. The incoming server needs to be inbound.att.net. I don't recall the outbound but I believe it is outbound.att.net. All of the mail from 12/18/16 started to fly in. Thanks to all who helped me here. It is VERY much appreciated.

I saw some blurb on the att site about oauth not working for outlook 2019, but I'm pretty sure that's how I have it set up on the old laptop. Oct 29, 2013 · I do not know the outgoing mail server settings. Outlook.com defaults the incoming mail server to inbound.att.net and port number to 995. The server name can be changed, of course, but the only options for port numbers are 110 and 995.
