Manjaro may be a good choice for gaming but it's not the focus of the project. I'm surprised that any of the flavours come with Steam pre-installed. The main difference between flavours is the user interface. But you can install multiple different desktop environments if you don't like the one from the flavour you choose. I'm a KDE person myself.

So your question is confusingly worded, but If you wanted to use i3wm from another manjaro flavor (XFCE it appears) and wanted to get a Manjaro i3 community edition-like experience, there'd be a bit of work to do. manjaro i3 community edition also comes with dmenu and urxvt, and several CLI/ncurses packages optimized for i3 use (eg ranger, htop).
