Modeling and informatics tools for biomaterials – scaling methods to guide biomaterial design, predictive algorithms for structure-function, biomaterial mechanics; integrating bioinformatics with biomaterials discovery; metabolomics in the context of biomaterials. 2.

Authors are encouraged to use the ACS Biomaterials Science & Engineering Document Templates for preparing manuscripts for submission as well as for preparing final, accepted manuscripts. The use of templates is not required. NOTE ABOUT TEX/LATEX: There are special instructions for Preparing and Submitting Manuscripts Using TeX/LaTeX.

Since the readership of Biomaterials Science is wide ranging, it is essential that the Review is easily comprehensible to a non-specialist in the field. Authors are encouraged to identify areas in the field where further developments are imminent or of urgent need, and any areas (such as techniques) that may be of significance to the biomaterials community in general.
