Miserable, Narrow Seats - Avoid the United 787 --- not for long haul flights! The Economy Seats on the 787 are extremely tight. The measurements/numbers don't capture just how miserably uncomfortable the economy cabin is. I'm a slender guy and I sat at the window. In the middle seat was a somewhat overweight (but not obese) guy.
