12.12.2021 · Kelly Doton is entering her seventh season as head field hockey coach and ninth as a member of the field hockey coaching staff at Boston College. She has posted the program's best winning percentage (min. 50 games) during her time at the held of the Eagles, guiding the program to unprecedented heights, including a trip to the 2019 NCAA Final Four.
Starr began her coaching career at the University of New Hampshire in 1978. While earning her master's degree, she served as the head coach of the Wildcat junior varsity field hockey team and as an assistant coach with the women's lacrosse team. The following year, she began a two-year stint as head coach at Bucknell.
Taylor Blood '17, a member of the U.S. National Development Team who helped the Boston University field hockey team claim back-to-back Patriot League titles as a student-athlete, returned to the program as an assistant coach in June 2021.
