The Boston University Figure Skating Club is a competitive, nationally ranked intercollegiate figure skating team composed of skaters of all levels, from Preliminary through Senior, and disciplines, including Freestyle and Ice Dance. The BUFSC competes in from two to three Eastern Section qualifying competitions and Intercollegiate Team Nationals.

UCLA Figure Skating is a student-run club sports organization affiliated to the University of California, Los Angeles. With a competitive team of nearly 20 skaters, unity and team bonding are crucial both on and off the ice – our skaters provide support for one another throughout everyday campus life. Does USC have an ice rink?

This class is structured toward competitive skaters and those currently on the Boston University figure skating team. Skaters will work on both short and long programs for collegiate competition, footwork for synchronized team skating, and dance.

2020 Eastern Adult Sectional Figure Skating Championships Gold Medalist. Pinar Gurel grew up figure skating in North Carolina and took a break from competitive skating while pursuing her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She went on to obtain her PhD in biochemistry from Dartmouth College in 2015.

U.S. Figure Skating recently announced it will host the 2021 U.S. International Figure Skating Classic at The Skating Club of Boston. This event will be held alongside the U.S. Challenge Skate, which is a developmental competition for domestic novice and junior competitors.
