While at Dartmouth, Pinar returned to competitive skating as a member of the Dartmouth Figure Skating Club, and helped the team win the 2012 U.S. Intercollegiate Team Skating Championships. Currently, Pinar is working as a cancer researcher in the greater Boston area, and remains active in the figure skating community.

The Boston University Figure Skating Club is a competitive, nationally ranked intercollegiate figure skating team composed of skaters of all levels, from Preliminary through Senior, and disciplines, including Freestyle and Ice Dance. The BUFSC competes in from two to three Eastern Section qualifying competitions and Intercollegiate Team Nationals.

30.12.2021 · The mission of the Boston College Club Sports program is to provide athletic opportunities to students who are seeking a high level of competition and camaraderie. In keeping with the Campus Recreation mission, the Club Sports program is committed to the formation of the whole person – intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually.

In 2013, the Club organized, in co-operation with U.S. Figure Skating, for the first time in Boston, the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships at the Agganis Arena of Boston University. In 2020, the Club welcomed the Hayden synchronized skating teams into the Club family when these teams began practicing at the new Norwood facility.
