Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization that provides transport to the sickest of the sick, regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. For 35 years, Boston MedFlight has been the region’s primary provider of critical care medical transport by air and ground, caring for more than 4,700 patients annually, including the most critically ill and injured infants, children and adults.

The stretcher systems have a capacity of 700 pounds. In 2019, we completed 2,370 ground missions, an average of 6.4 missions per day. We serve sending hospitals throughout Massachusetts, southern Maine and New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. Boston MedFlight has seven, state-of-the-art, critical-care ground transport vehicles.
