Director. Lloyd M. Segal has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of our board of directors since our incorporation in September 2016. From February 2010 to January 2016, he was a Managing Partner with Persistence Capital Partners, a Canadian-based healthcare private equity investor.

Jeffrey L. Ives, Ph.D., Director. Dr. Ives joined Astrocyte Pharmaceutical’s Board of Directors in December of 2014. He has over 30 years of senior scientific leadership experience in the development of novel therapeutics, with an emphasis on drugs for central nervous system diseases.

Director. Ron Cami was appointed as Waypoint’s General Counsel and as a Member of its Board of Directors in June 2018. Kevin Buchi, , joined the Dicerna board of directors in August 2018 and was appointed Chairman of the Board in January 2019. Mr. Buchi is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Cephalon, Inc. and previously served as corporate vice president of global branded products at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, after Teva acquired Cephalon in October 2011.
