List of Requirements for International Medical Students. The following requirements are for international medical students who have applied and were accepted to undertake a clinical elective at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM). Questions regarding the following tasks may be directed to Ana Gregory. Tuition Payment: Tuition for one clinical elective is $3000.

Residency is not a requirement for Boston University School of Medicine. BUSM has no limitation on consideration of out-of-state or international students.

International Students. International students who have a degree from a US or Canadian accredited institution, located within the US or Canada are welcome to apply. If you hold a non US or Canadian accredited degree, you must have completed at least 2 years of US or Canadian accredited advanced education, including all prerequisite courses.
