11.12.2021 · At $1.6 million, the Tour boasts the richest prize fund ever for a series of online chess events. Players from around the world compete to win 9 titles and the crown of overall Tour Champion. Nowhere else has this level of competition. THE FORMAT.

There are 10 total tournaments in the tour: 6 labelled as Regular, 3 labelled as Major, and 1 Final. Each takes place towards the end of a month over the course of 9 days. According to the tour regulations, there are 16 spots in a Regular tournament, 12 spots in a Major tournament, and 10 spots in the Final tournament.
