Checkmk is software developed in Python and C++ for IT Infrastructure monitoring. It is used for the monitoring of servers, applications, networks, cloud infrastructures ( public, private, hybrid ), containers, storage, databases and environment sensors.

It begins following the release of the preceding version – for example 1.6.0 – with the start of development of the new features for the coming version – for example 2.0.0.

Checkmk 2.0 is packed with new features, and normally with great power comes great resource usage. However, instead of making you worry on how your resources can cope, we changed a crucial part of the software architecture altogether: a new helper model for the the Checkmk Microcore (Enterprise only).
