My computer is up to date and I tried adding the "disable-gpu". It worked briefly after I uninstalled the brower and downloaded it again however after closing it, its back to square one. Any tips?
Right click chrome shortcut and go to properties. Click the Compatibility tab and run it in compatibility mode for Vista. Open chrome then go to Settings>Advanced then under the System heading there is an option to disable hardware acceleration. After performing those steps you can stop using compatibility mode for vista. Hopefully this works for you!

So my PC has had this white screen when I open google chrome, it only shows the x to close it, restore down and minimize.
