I’ve been coming to this area since the mid 80’s. I had no idea this waterfall was just outside of Cloudcroft. It’s about 8 miles out of Cloudcroft where you will turn in to Rio Penasco Rd. This road is paved for 2 miles and then is a dirt road for 2 more miles. The scenery is great in October as the trees are changing colors.
