I have an unused 11" Macbook Air and am thinking of running Proxmox on it, as sort of a "mobile" homelab, that I can play around with. As the MBA only has a wireless NIC, I know I am probably stuck with using a Routed or NATed network for my VMs.

07.10.2018 · Hi All, I am trying to install OpenWrt in a virtual environment x86-64 using proxmox but I cannot get into the installation as proxmox does not like .img files. I read somebody had a problem with a network configuration in proxmox so it looks possible. But I cannot contact him directly... I have tried converting the .img files to iso with no avail. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
29.01.2015 · Configure DD-WRT. Disconnect the Second NIC which is the public one and start up the VM. As mentioned above I do have a Windows box and I can use it to grab an IP address via DHCP and connect via web browser to 192.168.1.1. Create a username and password and log in. Go to Setup and setup your WAN Connection type, in this example it is DHCP
