After selecting 'Always Off' (0 - 24 in red, then 'save', then 'apply settings'), my WiFi analyzer still shows the SSID. I just put the r31277 K2.6 on a E1200v2. It uses same build as your E900. Wireless Network Mode = Disabled works just fine.

I've also tried erasing the nvram, 30-30-30 reset, and rolling the firmware backwards/forwards. Nothing is working. Everything is turned on for the WIFI to work but nothing is being broadcasted.

Are these newer version have a "radio off" problem ? Am I doing something wrong from updating from dd-wrt's web GUI ?

It took me a couple of days and lot of perseverance. :-) The power off and on again in between commands was provided by KONG in one the threads on DD-WRT forum I stumbled upon during one of the searches.
