02.02.2022 · Today's Delegated Act is about accompanying the EU economy in the energy transition, a just transition, as a bridge towards a green energy system based on renewable energy sources. It will accelerate the private investment we need, especially in this decade.

The Complementary Delegated Act builds on the commitments made in the Commission Communication of 21 April 2021 and on the dedicated assessment of nuclear energy. It will be formally adopted, once all languages are available, for scrutiny by co-legislators.

4. The detailed conditions applicable to the use of the derogations laid down in paragraph 1(a) and (b) shall be determined by the delegated act to be adopted by the Commission in accordance with Article 419(5) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013.
