All Synology devices from 2014 onwards, such as DS214 etc., will be able to install the new DSM 7.0 operating system. I hope this is useful for everyone. I even tried installing the DSM 7 version of Download Station (3.9.3-4609) on my DS215j but I got an "Invalid file format ...
