01.12.2016 · At this point I have a couple GL.iNet mini-routers, one of which I plan to re-purpose for use as a gateway/bridge that I can attach the EM7455 to. Looks like LEDE, Microtik, and even vanilla OpenWRT have some baked-in driver support for MC/EM7455 which should make it pretty easy to just hook up as WAN on one of my Intel NICs in the PFSense box.
Dec 05, 2021 · The EM7455/MC7455 is a Category 6 LTE modem. It is capable of 300Mbps down and 50Mbps up. Real world, you are unlikely to ever see much more than 230Mbps, even on Sprint Carrier Aggregation of Band 41+41 (40MHz total). These are my peak results so far (B2+B12, 30MHz total):

The EM7455/MC7455 is a Category 6 LTE modem. Official Firmware. 4G WiFi module which means “core” in Chinese and with an Open Source OpenWrt system inside.
