Engineered cementitious composite (ECC), originally developed at the University of Michigan, has a typical moderate tensile strength of 4 to 6 MPa and a higher ductility of 3 to 5% (Fischer et al., 2003; Li, 1993). The tensile stress–strain curves of these two types of HPFRCCs are illustrated in Figure 24.2.
