31.03.2016 · I'm still unable to access my storage pools after installing Windows Server 2012 R2. If I boot to a command prompt, I can access all the files on the storage pools, but if I boot into Windows Server 2012 R2, the pool shows read only. When I use the command shown in the post above, I get "Permission Denied."

Now on the restoration. every time i tried to restore. using the Object Storage, it feels like the data is coming locally but no the cloud. We currently don't have any proxy(or there is a proxy auto setup by Veaam, not sure how to use it yet).

Since the Hyper-V hosts are on another subnet, it didn't have correct opening to the QNAP storage. I had to open up in the firewall on ports tcp/udp 137-139 and tcp 445 to the QNAP storage, and it worked flawless.

Even when you get this error, the VM restore continues and finishes with the next ... This can only happen if there are issues with your Storage Repository, ...

Yes, I setup another Ubuntu machine, with the same OS level, that uses the same credentials, to better try and rout out this issue. That machine's backup has been configured identically and backs up flawlessly. A week of backups, no issue.
