12.06.2020 · I am very new (3 days) Always make sure you update the system after a fresh install. sudo pacman-mirrors -f5 && sudo pacman -Syyu. i always consider to be good, and over time just simply use: sudo pacman -Syu. or. pamac upgrade. Then install other packages, either from repositories or AUR.

May 24, 2011 · Well, that's returned a few mixed results, so I'm looking through them. I realise I might have jumped the gun a bit a posted early on, but I deemed it an acceptable move, perhaps not best practice, so I'll certainly take that into consideration in the future.

I recently tried running a classic pacman -Syu to keep my Manjaro up to date but it always outputs: error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies) :: installing nvidia-utils (1:430.26-1) breaks dependency 'nvidia-utils=1:430.14' required by linux50-nvidia. Which is a pain in the ass.
