15.02.2019 · Hello, we are in town for 6 nights to see the Aurora and although the Aurora forecast on the Explore Fairbanks website said that our chances of viewing the Aurora would be excellent yesterday, we didn’t see a peep. For Alaska, this means the aurora is expected to be active and visible overhead from Utqiagvik as far south as King Salmon and low on the horizon for much of the Aleutian Islands.
