Cannot connect Grafana to InfluxDB. Hi all, I am trying to set up Grafana with InfluxDB, and have followed a guide, that seems to use a slightly older interface (as the guide was not brand new). I cannot get Grafana to connect to InfluxDB - and I cannot figure out why. :

Dec 28, 2020 · As I understand it, you cannot connect Grafana 7 with Influx 2.0 OSS using influxql. Only Flux. Which has caused me to start a crash course on Flux in the past week. There are other versions of Influx that do work. I believe you have to map a database to a bucket, inside of InfluxDB.
Jun 20, 2014 · I had the same issue using the config shown by annelorayne above. It turned out that Grafana was not able to connect to localhost:8086, but it could connect to the actual IP address of the server (ie. 10.0.1.100:8086). This was true even though 'telnet localhost 8086' worked. I changed the Grafana config to this, and it worked:

11.06.2021 · InfluxDB Error: Bad Request What did you expect to happen? Grafana is connected to InfluxDB Also, I tried to ping from docker with grafana 192.168.181.128. Ping ok. and netcat 192.168.181.128:8086 is ok too.
