Feb 10, 2021 · Database not found is self-explanatory. You have something wrong, e.g. typo in the DB name (maybe some white characters was added to the end during copy/paste) or URL is wrong (so DB can be right, it just sits on another server), .... Nobody will be able give you answer. Go to CLI and test your connection with influxdb CLI command. –
04.02.2020 · From the openhabian-config output it is obvious that the InfluxDB daemon fails to start. The most common reasons are port already in use (as @jswim788 already mentioned), and access rights. Since the setup is done with openHABian, the 2nd option is unlikely. The first option can easily be checked with:
Jun 20, 2014 · It turned out that Grafana was not able to connect to localhost:8086, but it could connect to the actual IP address of the server (ie. 10.0.1.100:8086). This was true even though 'telnet localhost 8086' worked.

Time-series databases in general have a problem handling high cardinality, ... cost of not paying attention to cardinality is slow queries and high RAM use.
11.09.2020 · Noob alert!. I have 2 ubuntu 20.04 LXCs in proxmox running Influx 2.0 and Grafana. Influx receives data via telegraf agents running a bunch of windows/linux boxes. I’m trying to add this influx db as a datasource in Grafana but it doesnt seem to work. I’m not sure what I’m missing here. If there anything that I need to do in Influx 2.0 to allow connections from Grafana? Used …

After adding GPG keys manually and checked for GPG errors with apt-update, and restarting openhabian-config it still won't work. Grafana and Influx will get installed but configuration fails. Nov 29, 2019 · There are some modules out there for graphs and the influxdb/grafana stack is the best in my eyes, and still quite easy to set up. PNP4Nagios was good back in the days and I somehow miss the simple reporting engine but it was a pain in the socks when it came to accessing the raw data or changing the number of rows inside a database file.
