This problem has been around for at least a few weeks, and when I turn hardware acceleration off from the Edge settings, the problem never occurs. It mainly happens on the teaching website called Seesaw, but it also happens on Google Sheets, albeit far less frequently.

May 24, 2021 · Enable Hardware Acceleration. To enable Hardware Acceleration in Edge, open Edge settings page by clicking the three horizontal dots ( .) at the top corner of your screen, then go to Settings. When the Settings page opens, click on System on the left side menu. To the right, under System, turn on Hardware Acceleration as shown in the image below.
