Jun 07, 2020 · So, recently I configured InfluxDB and Grafana in my Home Assistant setup (read more here how I have setup my Home Assistant environment). The setup was pretty much straight forward thanks to the good documentation out there, but when I tried to integrate the Grafana graphs using IFrame into Home Assistant and Lovelace, I almost instantly ran into problem.

09.09.2021 · Many users are getting the “401: Unauthorized” error when embedding Grafana into an iframe card. The community suggests adding GF_AUTH_ANONYMOUS_ENABLED or GF_SECURITY_ALLOW_EMBEDDING to Grafana configration, but this did not solve the problem in my environment. If we enable authentication on influxdb then grafana can show the dashboards but the alerts will not use the credentials for the datasource and instead return 401 Unauthorized:
