I didn't want to learn a new OS and what a docker is before I could get started with Home Assistant. I put Ubuntu on an old laptop and am using Virtualbox with HA OS installed. I have same question, but I am running Home Assistant OS practice system now on Raspberry Pi 4. Is Raspberry Pi 4 powerful enough to run the Home Assistant and some add-ons like MQTT and maybe Grafana on Docker? Also I am planning to add PI-cam and some sensors directly to Raspberry and with HA OS it doesn't seem to be possible.
