The contemporary rooms have elegant, beachy decor consisting of wood paneling on accent walls, pendant lamps, and clean-lined powder blue sofas.
We are due to holiday here in July and seem to be reading alot of reviews saying that the food is not that good. We have previosly stayed at the Excellence Playa Mujeres in Mexico and all the restaurants here were fantastic.

Jan 30, 2022 · Staff is the best! Review of Excellence Punta Cana. Reviewed January 30, 2022. The staff at this resort makes it the best hands down! Eudy at the front desk is over the top excellent! Everyone from servers to housekeeping was so friendly and accommodating. The grounds and pool are beautiful, and food is good.
The Excellence Punta Cana Dominican Republic's brand-name Miile Spa is a retreat in itself, with two floors, several treatment rooms, a hair and nail salon, peaceful courtyard, and the special Bridal Suite. Jul 04, 2021 · The food quality was pretty good. As we always call out, the dishes you get in a 5-star all-inclusive are going to be of a lower standard compared to a normal 5-star hotel.
