20.04.2020 · Re: Roku HDMI connection to TV without HDMI port. I have connected my roku stick streaming plus to the RCA converter and the stick keeps over heating. It will work for about 15-20 minutes then gives an overheating alert. I have unplugged and re-plugged a couple times to see if maybe the connection wasn't right but so far same problem persists.
