Sep 21, 2020 · To get i3 to successfully unlock your keyring on login, you'll need to use the method outlined here. Edit /etc/pam.d/login and add the following two lines: auth optional pam_gnome_keyring.so session optional pam_gnome_keyring.so auto_start. After a restart (or logout/login) your gnome keyring should be unlocked.

But this pkg it’ll give you the manjaro i3 configuration, the mhwd menu and settings menu. From there it’ll be easier to configure i3.
