So in your case, your VM is telling the parent partition that it requires much more memory, but the parent partition cant assign it, since there is not that much available. The memory status should also indicate 'low' or 'warning'.

The memory demand (4300MB) of this vm is greater than the assigned memory (4096MB). It's a problem that is easily fixed. But the strange thing is, if I look into the task manager/resource monitor of the vm, it only uses about 40% of the 4096MB assigned.
