27.02.2018 · The best version of iMovie was iMovie 6HD. Sadly Apple no longer offers a download for this, but you could get it by searching eBay or Amazon for iLife version 6 which is still available on a DVD installer. Some sellers ask a lot as it is still popular, but IMO worth the money.
Where to download older version of iMovie? Mac. I work in a small computer shop. A month or so ago, a customer purchased a refurbished Macbook of ours running a clean install of 10.9. He's recently brought it back saying he is unable to download iMovie because it requires 10.10.
