Removing kernel versions like 5.8 and downgrading to 5.4.0-60-generic has solved the problem. Jun 24, 2021 · As you can see in Chapter 15.Change Log, Linux kernels 5.11 and 5.12 are only supported by VirtualBox 6.1.20 and newer.I'd suggest to uninstall the Ubuntu provided VirtualBox version and to install the current one provided by Oracle.
