Interdisciplinary Materials is a new open access journal publishing interdisciplinary research in the fields of materials science, physics, chemistry, mathematics, mechanics, biology, energy, environment, information, and engineering. Co-sponsored by Wuhan University of Technology, this comprehensive journal provides a platform for high-level international academic conversation.

In this interdisciplinary research project, researchers at NTNU will collaborate and integrate transdisciplinary knowledge to drive the transformation towards plastic-free Norwegian waters. Marine plastic pollution is a major sustainability challenge that requires holistic approaches across disciplines and sectors.
