Is Malwarebytes worth it in 2021? I recently bought Malwarebytes premium having used windows defender and the free version of said product side by side for years and had no issues. I thought it would be nice and a little extra piece of mind to have the extra features of premium - but am seeing a lot of bad stuff about premium acting as an AV which makes me regret my purchase.

I tried the premium trial of Malwarebytes and it felt much better, even blocking malicious sites. Main uses of my pc : gaming,youtube,sometimes "legal" steamming,and buying stuff from ebay/amazon Thanks

Win 10 has a good antivirus. At this point, literally no other antivirus is worth any price. i would still recommend malwarebytes along with defender. keep malwarebytes off & schedule a task to scan system twice a week. Its good in detecting PUP, trojans etc. Not unless you sail the seven seas.
