05.05.2020 · Perhaps a good practice is to parse them separately? Yes I agree, and it is already possible. Lightning does not prevent us from doing it. I do this in my script so that I can only pass the true hparams to my model and don't have any Trainer args in there. This can be achieved by two parsers and then using parser.parse_known_args for each of them.
