Small-molecule antagonism of the interaction of the RAGE ...
www.science.org › doi › 10Nov 24, 2021 · Inhibiting the receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) has been shown to reduce complications of diabetes. Instead of targeting the extracellular domain of RAGE, here, Manigrasso et al. developed a small molecule, called RAGE229, able to inhibit the interaction between the cytoplasmic tail of RAGE and Diaphanous-1, thus completely inhibiting the intracellular RAGE signaling.
