Having completed the beginner textbook of Korean Grammar in Use, I would like to read a novel or some short stories. Although I am starting to learn from the Intermediate textbook, I would also like some reading material to get on with alongside my intense grammar sessions.

I've been working with some Korean friends on a new, free site for learning Korean vocabulary and grammar. The site is called Raw Korean . We have over 5,000 translated words and about 200 grammar points with explanations and example sentences split up into 4 levels (1-4).

Not personally used Korean Made Simple but I do use KGIU and I have the same opinion as everyone else - whatever you use, you will need to supplement it with at least one other resource. I really like KGIU but they don't always fully clarify different versions of the grammar point*.

The entire KGIU set covers about 270 grammar points, and Korean has over 2000 particles. Of course, many of the grammar points teach multiple particles, I don't have an exact count though. Some more complicated grammar points like reported speech teach about 20 particles/grammar point, while some simpler might teach just 1 or 2.

level 1. robobob9000. · 5y. KGIU is the closest you can get to a stand alone resource for Korean grammar. But honestly, when it comes to Korean grammar you kinda have to attack it from multiple angles. Getting the grammar down is the most difficult part of Korean.
